Is Anti Rabies Shot Necessary For Being Scratched By A Vaccinated Dog?

Hi Good day doc .im from Philippines.my pet dog vaccination of anti rabies was aug 20,2015. I was scratched in the neck but it did not bleed. A shallow one. I wash with soap and water thoroughly.then applied antibiotic ointment. Doc I m worrying because it s on my neck and near to my head.do I need to be given an anti rabies shot?last feb 20 and 24,2016 I was given two shots booster because the same dog bitten me while we were playing. Last year also I was bitten again of the same dog, two shots also of anti rabies given to me... This time doc it s a scratches only but on my neck...shallow one... I m afraid also if I will be overdose of this vaccination cos just feb 2016 was my last ... Pls I need your advice. Thank you so much. Mari

Hi
No need for worry about getting rabies here for two reasons:

It cannot be transmitted by a scratch

The dog has been covered by his recent vaccination
