Is B-blockers Essential For Benign Supraventricular Ectopic Beats?

i am 20yrs old, 55kgs, height-5"1, rarely drink caffein. father is diabetic, am occasional drinker and smoker. i have benign supraventricular ectopic beats,got an holter test and the report shows 1345 prem. supraventricular complex, 73 supraventicular bygeminy and 38 supraventricular couplet. i have been prescribed prolomet xl 25 for 4 weeks. my query is, is it necessary totake b-blockers for this benign condition? and is occasional drinking bad with this heart condition?

You should take beta blockers for this , as it one of the safest drug
Other being verapamil
With so many variations in the ecg with bigemeny, couplets, it is mandatory for you to take the treatment.
This can be drug induced, occasionally due to alcohol & smoking, caffeine, some antibiotics, electrolyte imbalance, cardiac related problems, infections, ,myocarditis,, thyroid problems.
Kindly evaluate for the same
