Is Bacterial Infection And Trichomonas STD Same Thing?

I had a pap smear dec 2010. Before the visit was over my dr informed me that i had some bacteria. Meds were prescribed, questions were asked and I went about my way. Within the next week i received a letter from my dr's office stating that my pap results were normal and to come back within one year.. This past week my boyfriend informed me that he had cheated and the young lady is now accussing him of giving her the Trich std. I'm trying to figure out if a bacteria infection and the Trich std the same thing?
