Is Bad Cold, Muffled Hearing, Dizziness After Popping The Ears Concerning?

I ve had a really bad cold and I have a feeling my ears need to pop really bad because everything sounds muffled. I feel it has something to do with me being sick and me living on a hill. I plugged my nose and pushed because i heard that helps pop your ears and I felt so dizzy that I almost fainted. Should I go to the doctors?

Hello

Yes, you should go to the doctors since you have not got relief till now and also because you are having dizziness. The eustachian tube ( tube between ear and nose) seems to be blocked in your case, that is causing your ear complaints.
You will need some nasal decongestant drops and maybe antibiotics, depending on your clinical findings.
Please meet your doctor.
Thanks
