Psychiatrist 's  Response

Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.

I understand that you are quite distressed about your partner's suspicious behaviour. Now suspiciousness can be due to a variety of reasons, and in some cases, it can be due to a psychiatric disorder also. Some of the common causes of being suspicious are insecurity, personality disorder, paranoid delusions, etc.

Since this problem seems to be occuring very frequently and causing you a lot of distress, I would suggest that you take him to a psychiatrist for a detailed evaluation. In case, it is due to a psychiatric disorder, then he would need medication and counselling to help him overcome this problem.

Wish you all the best.

Regards,
