Is Belching Frequently Due To Medicine Taken For Bronchial Pneumonia?
My sister has bronchial pneumonia just diagnosed yesterday and began treatment yesterday. She is taking cefuroxime 500mg 2xday, albuterol treatments every 4 hours as needed and methylpred 4 mg tab 21. She was coughing frequently for about 2 weeks, but has since slowed since starting the treatment. However, starting to day her stomach is distended and she is burping frequently with burps smelling like sulphur. Could one of the drugs be causing this since this is new?

1)everything is right just add BEFOPAN-DSR cap once a day to control acidity and it is a PPI drug.
2)Add lactobacillus caps three times a day due to antibiotics.
