Is Blackish Stool And Excessive Urination And Thirst Indicative Of Diabetes?

Last visit to doctor, had blood sugar over 200. Talked about diabetes. Last few weeks I have been drinking lots and lots of water, and peeing lots and lots. Also, my poop is mostly just black. Is any of this related to each other, for diabetes or anything else? -K. Kirk

Check your PPBS if its >200 or FBS >126 or RBS >200 with symptoms of diabetes like increased thirst, increased desire for food intake, increased peeing etc or hba1c >6.5 then u have diabetes so, check FBS, PPBS and HbA1c together but blackish discolouration of stool can be due to iron supplements, blue berry, lead, bismuth etc or due to disease of gastrointestinal system like ulcers, gastritis, esophageal varices etc
