Is Bleeding And Painful Ear After Leaving A Cotton Swab Inside Concerning?

Last night I had a cotton swab in my ear and i completely forgot about it, I then layed down on that ear and the Swab went in almost all the way I was in deep pain so I went to sleep. When I woke up my ear was covered in dried blood and every 4 hours i feel a little blood trickling in my ear. Will my ear heal soon and do i have to see a doctor?

Hi.
The bleeding is suggestive of that you have traumatized the part of the ear.
To confirm the extent of the damage you need to see an ENT Surgeon and plan for further course, He will also remove the cotton ball.
You have to take an antibiotic coverage along with an anti-inflammatory medicines.
Do not put any ear drops.
Once the diagnosis is made you will be sure about the proper treatment .
