Is Bleeding From Placenta During Pregnancy A Cause For Concern?

I want a second opinion...I m currently 23 weeks pregnant and been bleeding for a week I went to the emergency and was told that I had a UTI but also was monitored and had an ultrasound...From what I was told that there was some bleeding from inside the placenta...Can u tell me the dangers of my situation?

Hello,

If the placenta begins to detach during pregnancy, there is bleeding from these vessels.

It has a high risk for abortion.

I suggest you visit a gynecologist for further evaluation.
