Is Bleeding Natural After Using Contraceptive Pill?

Hi. I just had my first intercourse last Saturday. I bled, of course. But today, is Wednesday and when I checked if I was still spotting, there was still some blood on the tissue. It has been 5 days. I took a contraceptive pill on Monday to prevent pregnancy, I was told that I would bleed. I did bled after 45 minutes from the pill but after that, I just had some minimal blood spots after wiping. Is this normal?
