Is Bleeding Normal After Stopping Birth Control?

I stopped taking birth control, in the middle of the pack, my periods stopped for 7months, finally got my period and its been 5weeks & it wont stop. Is this normal, I don't want to be put back on birth control because, I just don't think it agrees with my body. I just need some answers....

No, it's not normal to bleed that long. You may end up anemic or shock.

Meet your gynecologist. Get done a ultrasound pelvis. Do investigation regarding bleeding disorder and panel of hormone study to rule out the cause.
