Hi Dr . samuel :) I had a tonsillectomy December 2012 I had a couple of complications that followed Where my throat just wouldn t heal and had to have a further 2 operations in a space of two months in the end they had to join my throat to bk of my tongue wich finally worked and my throat quickly healed after, but ever since then wen I eat I always seem to get blisters on the scar tissue, is that normal. It s not causing any major proplems can just get irritating at time because I feel them with the back of my tongue??
HI Well come to HCM Even after the repaired of complication if you still of some problem like you stated here about forming of blister then this may not be normal one, actually in such case clinical examination is must because this is surgical case which demand the clinical observation, I would advise you to see the doctor and get this confirmed chances of some infection need to be ruled out, take care have a nice day.
