Hi welcome to Healthcare Magic. The bloated feeling that you describe following andominoplasty is usually the result of several things:-
1. Tightening of the abdominal wall (which then makes any bloating more noticeable)
2. Side effects of the medications given around the time of surgery.
3. Hormonal changes associated with the trauma of the surgery itself!
The good news is that most bloating resolves and the symptoms should improve with time.
Best thing is to stay hydrated and avoid issues like constipation.
Do write to me about the results in coming days. I am happy to help you.
Wishing you good health!
Regards,
Dr. Anuja
