Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
yesterday at an annual physical exam, my blood pressure read 155/86. I do not have a history of high bp. my doc asked me to monitor my bp for 2 wks, keep a log, and come in with the log for a bp check with an office nurse. Today I ve researched bp elevating/lowering foods. What might a low- dose rx be if I need medication. Specifically, I m enrolling in a new medicare part D plan and am watching tiers or rx drugs. I m 66, female and active.
