Is Blood Pressure Of 222/85 A Cause For Concern?

Hi, I ve got a friend, 76 yr old female asian former stroke victim recommended by her primary care doctor to go to ER due to high blood pressure. The ER released her to go home although even after BP meds and bloodwork were administered, her blood pressure was 222/85... Does that sound right?

This blood pressure should be treated with blood pressure medication that helps in lower it. It should be maintained under control for several days.
