Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband blood pressure is 87/54 is that a dangerous level??? He is taking chemo this is the second week off. It has steady down hill. ll0,l0l,96,87 since last thursday. The oncologist was concern about it nothing done. But off chemo till jan3 and on a different chemo. I don t know when it is time to panic or call dr.::
BP 87/54 mm Hg, is low. Any further drop can be dangerous. Better to consult a physician urgently. Allowing it to remain like this also is not good. Consistently reducing BP could be due to possible side effects of chemotherapeutic agents.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Prabhakar Laxman Jathar
