General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, vomiting of blood indicates severe erosive gastritis most likely. The underlying cause may be in relation with side effect of the chemotherapeutic agents stress related over ingestion of analgesic and anti inflammatory drugs without precise antacid or PPI coverage. This is a serious sign, but does not imply much so far as comments for terminal stage is concerned.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
