Is Body Heat, Vomiting, Body Rashes And Swelling Related To Heart Blockages?

My daughter has an 2nd heart blockage. Lately her body gets hot and she starts vomiting. She also has been breaking out in rashes on one side of her body with swelling. The doctors do not know what to make of it, can you help me figure this out please

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I would explain that her symptoms could be related to a chronic infection, possible tick bite or Rickettsial infections.

For this reason, I would recommend performing some tests to investigate the possible causes:
- complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation
- Lyme antibodies
- Weil Felix test
- a blood bacterial culture
- blood tests for different virus infections.

A cardiac MRI would help examine heart function and structure.

You should discuss with her doctor on the above tests.

I remain at your disposal for any further questions whenever you need!

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
