Is Body Jerking An Aging Symptom In Women?

i am having problems with jerking in my whole body but i mainly feel it on my hands and arms, legs. When I am trying to hold on to or like right now type this i have difficulty because i cant control my hands because they are jerking all over the place, When I walk like yesterday i went to walk a few spaces and my right knee went out from under me had i not had my cane i would have been on the floor. I am a 54 year ol female. I have had this slowly come on me foe areond the last 10 years but has gotten really bad in the last 5. If you might know what it could be i would really appreciate the help.

Hello,

At 54 its very unlikely that the symptoms you have are due to aging. Have you ever been into any accident? There are plenty of reasons for this. Some can be neurons related disorders.

I would suggest you see a neurologist regarding it. There is need of physical examination, medical history as well as some diagnostic tests to know the underlying cause behind your symptoms. After that appropriate management can be done.
