Is Bone Tb Contagious And Genetic?
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... My mother is 74 she has been diagnosed of bone tb. She has been prescribed AKT4. My querry is- is it contagious? seccondly is it genetic? lastly how long does she need to take these medicines and is it curable?

No , it is not genetic.
Medicines are to be taken fro 6-12 months depending upon disease severity and response to medicines.
Yes it is curable unless multi drug resistant.
