Is Brandy/wine Safe After Breast Cancer Operation?

Is use of brandy or wine after breast cancer operation good for the patient? ( My mom 65 yrs. old and in Sep.2010 her right breast was removed after detecting malignant cells in lump of her right breast) routine check-up is going on till date doctor is not advised any chemotherapy.) plz advise

It is not contraindicated, however the consumption should be limited. The advice is bit controversial as many doctors might debate on this. If consumed on a limited level (ex. 1 drink of brandy or a glass of wine), will not cause much of a harm.
