Is Breakage Of Nasal Polyp Possible While Sneezing?

I've had a nasal polyp around 4 yrs diagnossed at hospital ! It was twice as big as a pea , however today it's disappeared, I woke up sneezing & suffer with sinus . I can feel the skin flap were it was there was no blood etc do I need to do anything ? Thanks

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it is not possible for a large polypnto disappear overnight and there is a small possibility that it has detached from.the mucosa and has got fallen off..
But chances of this too are less and you should consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and he can do a Nasal endoscopy and check you clinically..
In case if there is no presence of polyp there is a possibility that it has got detached off and if this is the case you need not to worry as nothing is needed to be done..
In case if it is still present you can put Steroid nasal drops as it helps in shrinkage of the polyps..
You can also go for Steroid injection or surgical removal if steroids does not work..
As of now first get evaluated and see the exact status and get proceeded accordingly..
