Is Breast Milk Being Produced Due To Birth Control Pills?
i am 3 weeks late for my period. did UPT, the 1st one gave me blur result. to make sure, i make another test and it showed negative. then i started to take birth control pill. after that, i found that my right breast is leaking with milk when i pressed it. to make sure im not pregnant, i have done 5 more UPT on different days and the results are negatives. should i be worried about im being pregnant or not? or is it because the birth control pill makes my breast produce milk?
I've gone through your query. I can understand your anxiety.
U can wait for a maximum of 45days since your last menstrual cycle to confirm pregnancy. I advice you to do serum beta HCG test which is more reliable than HPT.
Also birth control pills to influence milk secretion in a non feeding women is rare. So do serum prolactin levels to rule out any underlying pathology & consult your gynaecologist for further assistance.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Get well soon.
