hello my name is nadine, im 17 years old and i have had the implant in for a year now, and have irregular periods so i never own when my period is. Anyway my breats have been very painful and tender for the past 2 week non stop and still are now. My stomach is feeling realy weird and i no it isnt wind, i have been weeing alot more than usual. i have been tired all the time. i think i maybe pregant, please can you tell me what you think.

Hello Nadine

Your concerns are very right.
While implant is a good method of contraception, failures are often possible and breast pain, stomach discomfort and increased frequency of urination does point towards pregnanacy.
ou can opt for a urine pregnancy test (with an early morning sample) or you can opt for Serum Beta HCG levels (which is a blood test and more reliable than urine test).A value of more than 25 is diagnostic of pregnancy.

If the pregnanacy test is negative, Please do rule out UTI by getting a urine routine and microscopic examination done.
