Is Brown Discharge And Clot Normal During Pregnancy?

I am 5 weeks pregnant.I noticed I have brown discharge after bowel movement since day before yesterday.Yesterday also it was there, but only when I wipe, in very small amounts.Today morning when I wiped, i saw a very small black clot.I am very confused.This is my first pregnance.Is this normal?

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion brown discharge and clot is not normal in pregnancy.I suggest you to consult doctor and get an ultrasound done to know the status of pregnancy.My aim is not to make you tense but bloody discharge is seen in abortion,any hormonal imbalance etc. Avoid physical and mental strain.Avoid intercourse.Dont worry with adequate treatment it might subside mostly.
