Is Brown Vaginal Bleeding After Skipping The Birth Control Pills Normal?

Hi I m on a birth control pill and my nurse told me I could take a packet up to 3 times in a row. I ve taken 2 in a row but accidently forgot to take it for a couple days and got my period sort of, it was brown blood so not fresh but still a period! Am I still ok to go ahead with the 3rd pill packet? I m going on holiday and my period would be due that exact week so I really don t want my period !!!

Hi,

If you had forgotten to take that before you need to start it today. If therapeutic levels are achieved periods may be avoided. But those can't be achieved with further delay in restarting the therapy.
