Is Bruising On Legs, Related With Anemia?

My Wife gave Birth to our daughter 7 weeks ago and has had sore knees since the start of the third trimester. Now Bruising has appeared on her legs only, she was diagnosed with mild aneamia during the pregnancy is this related to the bruising? Thankyou for you time
