Is Burning Sensation In Spine And Tingling In Hand Sign Of Costochondritis?

hi I have severe burning in the base of my skull right by my spine. I am weak and shaky when I stay sitting up. My hand and feet keep tingleing and I have pain in my chest and neck . my doctor said I had a virus.. called costochondritis.. is this something I should get a second opinion on.. I have been sick for 4 weeks now. and its not getting better.
