Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.

As per your complain and presentation of symptoms burping and painful swallowing is probably not related to Throat Cancer but a relatively common condition known as Gastro-esophageal Reflux Disease in which there is reflux of stomach acid from stomach to throat and mouth causing irritation to the throat mucosa causing its inflammation with the acid leading to painful swallowing..
Nothing to worry, consult a Gastroenterologist and get evaluated and the physician can advise you to get an Endoscopy done.
Once acid reflux is confirmed as the diagnosis he can advise you to take Proton Pump Inhibitors like Pantoprazole or Omeprazole.
Take antacids like Milk of Magnesia.
Drink plenty of water as it helps in dilution of acid.
Avoid spicy and acidic foods and also large and heavy meals.
Take small portions of food every 2 to 3 hours.
Eat more of Yoghurt in diet as it is Probiotic and help in retaining good bacteria on intestine that will improve digestion and absorption..
Take short walk after meals..
Eat your dinner atleast 2 hours before sleeping.
While sleeping keep your heals slightly raised then legs.

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
