Is Bursitis, Related With Indentations On Thigh?

Hi - after being diagnosed with bursitis in my right leg, I started noticing a big indentation on my thigh. What is this? It's been a year now and it's not going back to normal. Should I see a doctor again ? It's not painful, it looks bad, but more than anything I'm concerned it could be something serious. If you could please provide any advise, I'd be grateful. Thanks.
