Is Ceasing Off Keppra Advisable Post A Brain Surgery?

My daughter is recovering from brain surgery, she is 10 mos. post surgery. Her dr. Started taking her off the seizure medicine keppra. The surgery was related to her having seizures. She is feeling frustrated with her memory, which is still recovering from the surgery.
