Is Chemotherapy Advisable After A Mastectomy?

I had a double mastectomy 2 years ago. I ve been on Tamoxifen. Now I have a recurrent stage 2 tumor on the left side (ER Pos and HER2 Neg) plus a have a small growth on the right axillary breast that s ER Neg and HER2 Pos). What s better, chemo before or after surgery? Will chemo stop the L side tumor from growing?

Since you are having an advanced lesion. Better or take chemotherapy first to downstage the tumor and followed by mastectomy. The result will be better with pre operative chemotherapy when compared to primary surgery. Consult an oncologist surgeon and he will direct you accordingly.
