Is Chest Pain At Night With Left Arm Numbness A Serious Concern?

I have been experiencing chest pain at rest. This always occurs during the night, waking me up. At this time I also have a feeling of numbness in my left arm. I do have a history of heart disease in my family . However, I am an active, healthy 43 year old woman. Should I be worried? .

MY DEAR FRIEND you should not be worried about this being heart disease .clinical history is rather suggestive of neuropathic pain caused by cervical plexes or root entrapment or nerve leison in left upper arm .might be simply carpel tunnel syndrome on left side involving median nerve .this does not explain your chest pain. The nerves coming out through thoracic outlet may get compressed and responsible for chest pain and pnumbness .
secondly you should havesome more risk factors for heart disease so please live your life fully .thanks for using HCM.
