Is Childbirth Advisable For A Person With Bipolar Disorder?

I have a 26 year old daughter with bipolar disorder and she lives on her own. Recently couple months she has been seeing a guy whom is ok. She had told him in the begining of their relationship that she did not want children, now he is telling her or should I say I think has convinced her to have a child somewhere in the future. I am much involved in her life and have to do lots of things for her like her finances, etc etc. I don t think this guy realizes that she cannot take care of a baby. I guess my question is I am petrified that if she has to go off her meds which are by the way very regulated what will happen to her besides the face that I know women without this disorder can become very depressed after childbirth. I am so frightend right now I feel like telling this guy you have not even seen what my daughter is like. She is on a constant high having a bf that says she is his princess. Trust me I can go on, and by the way my husband is also bipolar. Lucky Me!!
