Is Circumcision Necessary If Having Full Phimosis?

i am 26 yr old having full phimosis.may be it is since by birth Recently came to that it will create problem during intercourse. I am virgin. Also i am alreay engaged & getting married witin 6 months. Doctors tell me to go for circumcision but i m afread to tell anyone now. Should i go for it alone or tell my parents or wait till marriage and only do it if it is required after trying sex ?
