Is Citalopram And Lipitor Causing Heart Palpitations?
Hi, I am on Citalopram (altho slowly reducing the dose in view of weaning off them) and Lipitor 40mg for elevated cholesterol. I am experiencing frequent palpitations throughout the day,sometimes for a couple of hours at a time. Is this a serious side effect or should I try and put up with it ? Do all palpitations lead to a cardiac incident ?

hi dear. palpitations are a cardiac symptom. so i will advice you to kindly not ignore it. visit your docter and get an ecg done. it will help us to confirm if you require any more tests or not.
