Is Cleaning Dog Bite With Savalon Enough To Avoid Infection?

Hi, A dog a street dog head my leg with teeth just for a sec. when i checked i found i was not bitten but his tooth left a very minor spot on my leg. one spot was on my skin and second one was just a dot blood clot. when i cleaned the spot with savalon a micro drop of blood came out. I was wearing a full pant and it was on my right leg under knee on bone. as a precaution i cleaned it with soap and taking all the injections. will it be enough.

Certain facts need to be known about the rabies disease,, the dog must not be infected with rabies, if the dog dies within week of bite then this would be matter of concern, if dog still alive then this is not worry, in case of doubt better to kill the dog and its brain need to be sent for detection of virus, (This seems very lengthy and weird ) but in your case no need to worry because all you did was exactly right and nothing more you could do you just made your self very much safe, take care.
