Is Clear Discharge From Penis A Symptom Of Fungal Infection?

Hello..!! Whitish crystal clear discharge from my Penis now and then since last 2 months...Doctor advised me some capsules and a cream. He told that it is a fungal problem.After having those capsules the problem decreased to some extent but still it is not fully recovered.It need to be mentioned that now a days i have observed that the discharge is happening specially when i am talking with my girlfriend over phone.But it is not sexual discussion.So, why it's happening actually?Is it a fungal problem or something else?Please reply.

Hi, penile discharge can be due to subconscious discharge of semen or due to discharge from urethral glands (which help in lubrication). Often this occurs during sleep or straining during passing stools or contact with person of opp sex (even if you are not thinking about sex). If there is associated burning or any urinary problems or skin rash over penis, you should get yourself checked by a dermatologist or a urologist. Terming a normal occurrence as fungal infection wouldn't help. take care.
