Is Cold And Flu Just Before Menses Related?

It seems I have a pattern of getting a cold, sore throat, or bronchitis right around the time of my menstral cycle. I am suffering right now from chect congestion/deep cough and upper respitroy symptoms. I started my period. Exactly a month ago--same thing. Can there be a relation between the two, or is it just a coincidence. I have noticed this many time before now, as well.
