Is Colonoscopy Advisable For A Person With Severe Gastritis?

Good Morning Sir, I am from Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh, INDIA). My father is suffering from Gastroenterology. On advise of Local doctors, he done all medical checkup/tests and all test is negative but one blood test is positive. after result doctor suspected Cancer or TB and advised for confirmation colonoscopy. My father very shocked and he is not ready for colonoscopy. He suffering from gastro very long time. Please Advise what we do?
