Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I have read your description and understand your concern.
Menopause is the time of a woman's life in which the body becomes infertile. You have reached menopause when you have not had a period for 12 months.
Perimenopause is the phase that marks the beginning of a gradual descent to menopause. During this time, you will continue have periods. However, they can become irregular as the hormones decline, which may affect your chances of becoming pregnant.
In case you are planning for pregnancy during this period, it is possible only with proper hormonal work-up, ultrasound scan and additional medication support after you conceive.
Kindly consult Gynecologist for proper evaluation and management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
