Is Conception Possible After Having Unsafe Sex While On Primolut?

My last period was on 29th march. I have a regular cycle of 28 days. I have primolute n this month from 18 to 22 to delay my periods. I have an intercourse on 22 nd without any protection. Is there any chance for pregnancy? Is there any problem in taking contraceptive pills to avoid pregnancy?

I have gone through your Query & I really appreciate your concern about the problem you are facing.

Brief Answer :
Yes there are chances

Detailed answer :
As a physician I would like to tell you that Primolut-N just postpones the menses but it does not prevent ovulation. So,if you had unprotected sex during the ovulation, there are might be chances that you may be pregnant.

I would at first like to suggest to you to take a home UPT Test (Urine pregnancy test) to determine the status. If it comes negative, repeat one again after 8 days. By this time normally your periods will return & if UPT comes out to be negative you have nothing to worry about.

But, if your periods does not return and UPD comes out to be negative then I would suggest you to visit your Gynecologist for thorough checkup and tests.
