Is Confusing Dosage Of Taxim For A Toddler A Cause For Concern?

Doctor advised taxim o 4 ml twice for my 4 year daughter as she had viral fever, stomach ache. Instead of giving tbe suspension, my mother had mistakenly taken out the powder amounting to 3 ml, mixed it with water and gave it twice yesterday. Worried on how to quantify this, how severe an overdose it is. What will be the effects of overdose. Thanks for looking and answering.

The dose is 8mg/kg/day in two divided doses.
A 60ml capacity bottle will have 600mg of powder.
so the given dose should not be very high.
If she has no symptoms you can ignore it.
A little nausea or a single vomit needs no treatment.
Anything worse please consult your doctor immediately.
