Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, Lately I have been writing down any numbers given to me backwards, not any letters, just numbers. This has happened repeatedly for the past month. I am 44 years old and I do not have dyslexia, or have never had any symptoms. I have never done that before, but I am in a stressful job. Could it be the stress? Thank you very much
I can understand your concern. If you are not having any other symptoms than just writing numbers backwards, you sure do have lot of stress in your job and life. You need to take life little easy. Take a break from job if possible and go for a vacation. Spend some time doing things that you like or develop hobbies. Learning a new skill will help to divert your mind, too. You can also join yoga or mediation classes and learn exercises that can give you relaxation.
If you develop any other symptoms associated with this or this keeps worsening, then I advise you to visit a neurologist for physical examination and further investigations.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic for your concern. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Best, Dr. Viraj Shah
