Is Constant Clearing Of The Throat A Cause For Concern?
For the past 2 days I have the feeling of something in my throat I can t clear. Last night I panicked thinking about my airway getting blocked with constantly clearing my throat to no avail so I went to the emergency room. They did an EKG and a chest x-ray then released me with a few subscriptions for famotidine and pro air HFR. Along with that I am drink lots of warm liquids and gargling with salt water. None of this seems to be helping and I am unable to sleep. I m a 61 year old male who is a former smoker.
