Is Constipation Normal After Taking Effexor 37.5mg?
I m taking 37.5mg Effexor and am experiencing quite bad constipation - taking Movicol (2 sachets per day) which is working for me. My GP has recommended moving up to 75mg to help symptoms improve. I am concerned my constipation will worsen to such an extent that the Movical won t work. Do you have any experience with this med? I am 75yrs old and am on other meds.

drink more water. take fiber rich food. can take husk of isofgul soaked in water at bed time. take bland diet lot of vegetable and fresh fruits. increase your physical activity. take regular morning walk.
