Is Contraceptive Pill Essential To Avoid Unwanted Pregnancy?

last night me and my boyfriend almost has sex. he says he did not cum and that i should not be worried as he entered me for like 2-3 mins but i do not want to risk it. should i take an emergency birth control pill or not. he says he did not cum but i am not sure and worried, is there any risk of pregnancy,should i take emergency pill?

Hi,

According to your history the points to be considered are that
sometimes the pre ejaculate fluid can also contain few spermatozoa and can lead to pregnancy. If you were during your ovulatory period at that time, there is some possibility for pregnancy.

Hence, it is better to go for emergency contraceptive pill. If you take the tablet within 24 hours of the act you can have around 90% protection. With increasing time gap, the success rate will decrease. Better act early.
