Hello Nikitha
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
A cord round neck is a common occurrence, found in almost 20 % of pregnancies.
It is not a contra indication to normal labour.
Polyhydramnios is when your amniotic fluid is on the higher side, but 17 is not that high.
I do not see any reason why you should not be given a trial for vaginal normal delivery.
It is possible that cord round neck causes some complications during normal delivery - such as fetal heart beat changes and risk of fetal death.
However, if your doctor is willing to monitor you, and the centre is equipped for intensive surveillance of the fetal heart rate, then you can go for a trial of normal labour.
At any time, a Cesarean section might be required if there are ominous changes in the heart rate of the baby, so be prepared for that.
Discuss it with your delivering doctor
All the best.
Take care.
