Is Cornea Transplant Required After Damage To Cornea?

Hi i am 15 years old and i have a eye injury and its being well tooken care of my vision has improved alot but my cornea was damaged and alot of other thingd but it didnt hit anything major but my eye doctor is talking bout me having a cornea transplant any advice bout what i should be looking foward to?

If only damage of cornea, then corneal transplant is the only answer. have to arrange for a doner if it is immediate donation and transplant then success rate is moredoner should not have diabetes cornea is to be taken from accidental death healthy cornea
