Is Cough And Cold Followed By Shivering In A Teenager Serious?

My teenager is 14 year old daughter, she was having cough and cold for the past few days.
Today she is telling me that she is shivering, should I run to emergency

Hi,

cough, cold and shivering suggests infection. She requires antihistamines with anti inflammatory drugs along with salt water gargle and steam inhalation. If fever, throat pain with sputum production antibiotics will be required.

Since these are prescription drugs, consult your doctor once. This is not emergency.
